Feedspot’s Top 100 Environmental Blogs
It’s a heck of a thing. It seems IV Words has been selected as one of the Top 100 Environmental Blogs on the Web.
This, according to Feedspot, which bills itself as a website that “…offers services to consumers and to marketers/businesses across industries.” One of those services presumably is compiling Top 100 lists for all kinds of blogs.
I was notified of this development via email by Anuj Agarwal himself. He’s the site’s founder.
“I would like to personally congratulate you as your blog IV Words has been selected by our panelist as one of the Top 100 Environment Blogs on the web.
“I personally give you a high-five and want to thank you for your contribution to this world. This is the most comprehensive list of Top 100 Environment Blogs (sic) on the internet and I’m honored to have you as part of this!”
Sure enough, there it is, #80, sandwiched in between #79. Earth Rising, An Alternative Environmental Commentary and #81. SUCCESSFUL GREEN – One World | One Environment | One Network.
Pretty cool.
Honored, truly.
But, truly…
It might be a bit of a dubious honor.
See, something came across my social media last week, into some feed or another, suggesting I submit my blog for listing on blog.feedspot.com. So, for the heck of it, I did. A couple of days later –
Wham! Anuj’s email.
Besides, #80? IV Words isn’t going to show up in any searches for “environmental blogs” any time soon.
But you know what? I’ll take it, anyway.
I mean, what the heck, right?
Judging from the blogs at the top of the list, like Treehugger, Grist and The Ecologist, all of which are quality environmental blogs in my judgment, the list is at least somewhat legitimate.
So, YES! There it is! IV Words at #80!
So, for the heck of it, why don’t you check out Feedspot.com to see what lists apply to your tastes and interests. Couldn’t hurt, right?
Thank you, Feedspot.
Thank you to all IV Words readers, too. And, please, keep reading. Maybe Anuj’ll bump me up a slot or two on the best environmental blogs list. Maybe not. Either way, keep reading.
