Event will be one of many Fridays For Future climate events worldwide.
Environmental and social justice groups are joining forces to strike and march for intersectional climate justice in the border cities of Fargo, N.D. and Moorhead, Minn. on Friday, Sept. 24, 2021. The FM event will be one of many strikes and marches worldwide on that day. Fridays For Future is spearheading the global effort.
FM Climate Strike & March Schedule
3 p.m. – Gather at Island Park, 302 7th Street South, Fargo
3:30-3:45 – Safety briefing and speechifying
3:45-4 – Start march to Fargo City Hall, 225 4th Street North
4:15-4:30 – Arrive at Fargo City Hall
4:30-5:30 – Rally (more speechifying)
There will be a protest sign making station prior to the march and we’ll be asking young people, ages 25 and under, to lead the way to city hall.
